For over 20 years, United for a Fair Economy's Responsible Wealth Project has been organizing upper-income and wealthy individuals to use their unique voice for supporting economic, racial, and social justice issues.

Responsible Wealth is a project of United for a Fair Economy (UFE) — an organization that supports workers to organize and advocate for policies that make our economy more fair and equitable. Responsible Wealth is a part of UFE's powerful team — one that challenges decision makers and politicians to act in the best interests of the people our economy is supposed to serve.

The Responsible Wealth Project is a network of business leaders, investors, and inheritors in the richest 5% of wealth and/or income in the U.S. who believe that growing inequality is not in their best interest, nor in the best interest of society. By becoming a member of the Responsible Wealth Project, you are able to use your position to speak out in favor of progressive taxation, living wages, corporate accountability, and more. We connect members of the project to speaking, advocacy, and other action opportunities.

As beneficiaries of economic policies tilted in their favor, Responsible Wealth members feel a responsibility to join with others in examining and changing the corporate and government policies that widen the economic gap. As wealthy and upper-income individuals, our members speak up — in Congress, in the media, and in corporate boardrooms.
